Excellent! The strings to my (overdue) coil couldn't be seen by the nurse at my doctor's surgery, so a referral for removal was made. It was such a blessing to have Dr Ammar and her team looking after me. They were very caring, human, kind and gentle. Although the expectation was that of lots of fiddling about resulting in extreme pain, nothing could have been further from the truth. Dr Ammar worked her magic swiftly and with relatively little pain. She was professional, yet human. Something you need when you're worried senseless about a procedure. They were running a little late so I used that time to do some relaxation breathing as I'm quite a ninny when it comes to pain! Although I'm certain this helped, her care of my body was above and beyond and her demeanour was fundamental in me not climbing the walls before we'd even begun. I am an extremely grateful patient. Please don't leave the NHS Dr Ammar!!

I had an ovary and large cyst removed 3 weeks ago by Dr Katy Ammar. I was just amazed but the level of care and kindness I received both before, during and after the surgery. I have been involved both personally and professionally with many healthcare professionals and I have to say Dr Ammar is one of the best. In such difficult times Dr Ammar carefully navigated her way professionally arranging for me to have this urgent procedure. I will always be very grateful for her kindness and compassion.
